The Fado Night Tour takes place in Alfama, one of the oldest Lisbon neighborhoods and where Fado has a long tradition. Short walking distances are involved.

During the walk, you`ll get to know the origins of Fado and its connection to Alfama. Then we`ll have dinner of Portuguese Petiscos (tapas) at a small traditional restaurant, where live Fado music is performed. We´ll have time to enjoy the food, listen to the beautiful music, and talk as I share some of the history and compelling stories behind Fado.

Later, if you still have the energy, we can visit another bar, have a final drink, and see other Fado performers and musicians. (This is optional).

When the lights come down and the sound of the guitars wrap the senses, you’ll be enraptured. You’ll come away from the tour having seen and heard a variety of magical live performances. An authentic Fado Night awaits you.
